One of my favorite memories as a kid, was going to Dairy Queen and getting a chocolate dipped ice cream cone. When I was a teenager I found that they actually sold some magic shell sauce to have it at home, and of course I did! Then I got into real food and decided not to have high fructose corn syrup or soy products in my house. But now, I’ve discovered how easy it is to make my magic shell, with good ingredients and since then, I’ve been eating it every chance I get!
Homemade Magic Shell
2 oz chocolate or 1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil
Heat oil and chocolate in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. When completely melted (1-2 minutes) pour over ice cream.
