Pomegranate Gummies, a Simple Valentine Treat

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. The simplicity of the holiday makes it my absolute favorite! We do small thoughtful things for each other and that’s it.
Simple and fun.

Simple treats are a great time to get the kids in the kitchen with you. They can help you measure, stir and then cut out the gummies (and eat the “extras!”).
Besides that, gelatin treats are good for everyone! Did you know that gelatin provides you with a whole host of amino acids? Yes! Which means, we’ll feel better if we eat it. Be sure to get a good quality gelatin like this one.
Pomegranate Gummies
Ingredients:
1 cup pomegranate juice (Click here to buy)
3 tablespoons gelatin (Click here to buy)
1 tablespoon honey (Click here to buy)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients together. Pour into small sauce pan and heat on low until clear and liquid. Pour into glass 8″ x 8″ ungreased baking dish. Place in fridge and cool for about 30 minutes until firm. After it’s firm, you can cut it into little squares (which is what we normally do) or you can use a cookie cutter to cut them out into shapes. (We used this tiny one since it’s Valentine’s Day.)
