Easy Homemade Tartar Sauce

Monday, I posted a recipe for Salmon Patties, but did you know that you can easily make tartar sauce to go with them? Oh yes! And so easy:
Easy Homemade Tartar Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise (click here for a simple recipe)
1 large (or 4 small) dill pickle, finely diced (should equal about 1/2 cup diced pickle)

    Try just mayonnaise and relish.

You left out the cream of tartar powder. I always add a teaspoon or so. I often use half mayo and half sour cream. Sometimes i add some dry mustard powder for a touch of that special kick, too.
