What people are saying about the Living With Less Decluttering Course:

Janelle picI highly recommend the Living with Less course. You’ll be encouraged by others and their successes as shared in the Facebook group that you will join. Rachel is accessible and is willing to give direction if you have specific questions. She addresses issues that class members face at different stages in life to help them be successful. You will learn daily routines and helpful tips that will help you maintain your home. For me the value of the course exceeded its cost and the time and effort expended. ~Janelle Hood

I’m hoping Rachel will offer this course again. I would certainly recommend it. It’s worth every penny. There is so much more: developing various routines and even menu plans and recipes available. The first week of the class was devoted to mindset and developing one small daily routine (washing dishes) and wiping off the stovetop. I had to first clear my stovetop of clutter! Anyway, the steps were small enough and doable enough and I was desperate enough, that it has really started me going and I’m even enjoying it. I’m actually amazing myself. I’d read enough books on organizing and Decluttering to teach it, but I “couldn’t” do it. Now I’m learning I CAN do it. But it does take that coming alongside, taking small steps and keeping encouraged. What I really like about Rachel is how she makes it sound so reasonable and altogether beneficial to get rid of stuff. And yet leaving it open to individual preferences. Just keep things that bring you joy! ~Vicky Benson

I was hesitant to join the course as I was further along my decluttering journey than others and had alreadyEm McDermott thumb achieved a lot on my own but I got an enormous amount out of the course. It’s a wonderful course that supported me to make some lasting changes in my home and in my life. No matter where you are in your decluttering journey, I think you’ll find many gems and insights in this course. If you’re not sure whether to do the course, I’d say DO IT! ~Em McDermott

This coMyrte thumburse got me further than I expected with my house. The tasks are doable, the ‘classes’ short and encouraging. And I never felt a sense of shame. That made work cheerfull. Add to that a friendly facebook group to share success and hitches. The result: an emptier house and the courage and mindset to work on. ~Myrte van Lonkhuijsen

Rachel Jones’ Living with Less course has honestly been life-changing for me. I’ve been trying to declutter my home for YEARS, without ever making lasting changes, but this course has taught me how to tackle the excess in my home in a very doable, step by step manner. Even though I’ve read many organizing books, Rachel clarified the process of reducing the amount of items I own so that now I feel equipped to tackle other areas of my home. And probably most importantly, Rachel helped me to see that I was believing things about myself that are not true, and that were limiting me in significant ways. Thank you, Rachel! ~Noel Green

I’m a single mother of a 14 and 6 year old. The less stress the better:)
Its the perfect time in our lives to start anew and I’m going to use your method. I’ve been looking for the right tool and love what I see you sharing. Thank you.
Now I just need to decide on wether to purchase the 30 day challenge set or I should take the 5 week course….(I’d like to have the support and the simple meal plan). How long until the next course begins and can you please give me a price in order for me to save to invest?
    Bless you,
    Bianca

Thanks Bianca! The 30 Day Books are perfect for someone who wants to work independently and the support network within this 5 week course is super helpful and it’s also great to have the accountability of others working on the same thing. The course will open up in May, I don’t have the date set yet, but will open registration most likely the 2nd week of May. It runs for $97.

    Hi Rachel,
God bless you. I’m on my way back to sanity! 🙂 I just signed up for the six week course. What do I look for come May 18?
    Cheers,
    ~Cynthia~

I would like to do the course but we don’t have Facebook- that seems to be mentioned a lot in the comments so I guessing that is a big part of it. We also have a data plan for our internet that limits our usage per day – is there anyway you could tell me how big the video files are so I could see if we could even watch them? Sorry this is so last minute but you know us cluttered folks seem to lose things like this in our cluttered email box and I just saw this email about the course today!

    • Rachel on 05/12/2015 at 7:03 pm

      Hi Beverly,
The videos range from 3 minutes – 10 minutes, on average. There are 3 webinars that are about an hour each time.
Facebook is optional, about 1/2 of the people that take the course don’t have a facebook account, so it can be done. There is an extra push when you have others working at the same thing and encouraging one another, but it’s not absolutely necessary. If you don’t have facebook, I recommend having some sort of accountability partner- either a friend who will do with course with you, or someone who will just check in and ask how it’s going. If you have any more questions- feel free to email me: rachel@nourishingminimalism.com

    Rachel,
Beverly here. I have a small problem. My computer went out and my hubby is taking it to be fixed. While it is gone though I don’t have access to email and I don’t know another way to sign in to the course. Can you please post a sign in page here so I can go sign in through my daughters laptop? Thanks so much!
