Simple Strawberry Salsa

simple strawberry salsa
One of our family’s favorite foods for summer is a fresh salsa and this summer I was introduced to this gem: a simple strawberry salsa. Hello summer! Wow- that is good! The whole family enjoys this one, even my I-never-eat-salsa daughter loves it!
This is a mild salsa, so if you like spice- definitely leave the seeds in the jalepeno.

Simple Strawberry Salsa

Ingredients:
1 pound strawberries, diced
1/2 red onion, diced
1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
1 jalapeno, diced (remove seeds if you don’t like spicy)
1 lime, juiced
Directions:
Dice all ingredients together. Serve with organic corn chips or over grilled chicken.

Tip: If you get jalapeno juice on your skin and it is burning- rub the lime over the affected
area for a full minute. This will neutralize the capsaicin on your skin.
