Strawberries in Balsamic Vinegar


Now and then in the midst of the chill of winter (at least for those of us in the US in January!), it’s a delight to enjoy some fresh strawberries.
Fruit desserts are such a refreshing treat. And this one is truly unique. With the sweetness of fresh strawberries and a delicious zing of balsamic vinegar.
Such a simple and unique dessert is sure to bring a smile.



Strawberries in Balsamic Vinegar
Ingredients:
2 pints strawberries
4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
4 tablespoons organic sugar
Directions:
Wash strawberries and remove tops. Quarter strawberries. Mix in sugar and vinegar. Allow to sit for 20 minutes. Stir and serve.

    I’ve got a lot of balsamic vinegar in the pantry, and some frozen strawberries. I think I might try this!

    where do you get oragnic fresh strawberries with any taste this time of year?

      The last ones I got, were from Costco, and they were not organic.
