Clothing Challenge Month Week 2

For the month of September we are doing a clothing challenge. Read the rules and goals here.

Half way through the challenge and this is what my closet looks like:
19 hangers turned the correct way: 3 skirts, 5 pants, 1 short, 10 shirts.

In the last 2 weeks I have come to realize that I basically wear the same 7 shirts each week.

I have dress/casual v-neck fitted t-shirts that I wear with everything. Just plan colors- black, white, brown, green, grey, teal and magenta. I wear them with jeans, skirts, shorts… I have the same style in long sleeve for the winter months.

If knit shirts aren’t flattering, invest in some nice fitted button up shirts. Fitted button ups are flattering for all body types and are very forgiving. Plus, they are comfortable and look dressy.

One of my friends sticks with black, grey and white for all her clothes. She looks great in those colors and everything coordinates. She told me she did that one evening while we were chatting… I’ve seen her at least twice a week for the last 5 years and had never noticed. Brilliant!
