Cheesecake Peaches

I love the smell and taste of warm peaches in the fall. Growing up in Washington state we had an abundance of fruit in the fall and the aromas of baking and canning was always a wonderful reminder that it was harvest season.
This easy dessert celebrates the sweetness of the fruit and is beautifully simple.

Cheesecake Peaches
Ingredients:
2 peaches, halved, pits removed
4 ounces cream cheese
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Directions:
Place peach halves on baking dish. Mix cream cheese and maple syrup. Put a spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the middle of each peach. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
