Skillet Rice

This is a stand by for me– it’s so easy and I always have different veggies to throw into it.
Skillet Rice
Ingredients:
3 cups cooked rice
1 pound sausage, quartered & diced
1-2 cups chopped veggies (zucchini, carrots, bell pepper, onion, broccoli, etc)

Directions:

In skillet heat sausage, then add the veggies and rice on top, let cook for about 5 minutes- so they can “steam” a little. “Stir-fry” until the veggies are done to your liking.
Serve.

Is it a total of 3 cups rice…2 cooked and 1 uncooked? How does the uncooked rice work? Btw, thank you for all these recipes! My boys love your dishes!
