Strawberry Banana Popsicles

Strawberry Banana Popsicles

My kids look forward to summer… mostly for the popsicles. It’s the highlight of their day. And, really, what is better than playing in the hot sun, running home and cooling off with a fresh delicious popsicle?
I love coming up with new varieties, and the kids love being the official taste-testers. They give me honest opinions!
This recipe is a complete winner in their book.

Strawberry Banana Popsicles

Ingredients:
2 bananas, peeled and chunked
1 pound strawberries, stems removed
Directions:
In food processor (or bowl with an immersion blender) blend fruit together. Pour into popsicle molds, place sticks in molds and place in freezer. Freeze solid before serving. Makes 6-8 popsicles.

Popsicle Molds:
I have this one, simply because we tend to loose the “stick ends” and I have had to replace them several times. With this one, I just purchase wooden popsicle sticks and they can throw them away. If your family is great at keeping track of holders, than I recommend these stainless steel popsicle molds.
