101 Simple Sack Lunches for the Busy Family

101 Simple Sack Lunches for the Busy Family

Having a list of lunch ideas for the coming school year makes the days a little more exciting and it’s healthy for the kids to get more variety in their lunches.
Homemade lunches can give kids a lot of bragging rights and it definitely makes them feel special and cared for.
And gluten free lunches are easy! Just put the sandwich fixings in, leaving out the bread. Add some rice crackers or corn chips for a nice crunch. Like having a homemade lunchable. Many of the following suggestions have no bread, or you can just leave the bread out.
I recommend a reusable lunch container like these.

I had to do a double take when I read Nutella. I scrolled back up and it said “homemade Nutella” – whew! A superb list! Pinned. =)

LOL! Yes, homemade… but I do love the taste of regular Nutella. 😉

Thanks for the ideas. My hubby just started college again so we will need some inspiration.

Great list! Here are a couple other go-to options in our house: ham/cream cheese/pickle roll up. Peanut butter and dill pickle sandwich (sounds odd, but very good!)
Celery topped with ___________. peanut butter, cinnamon & raisins, cream cheese & cranberries, cucumbers topped with tuna salad and cranberries.
    Thanks!

Thanks Trina! I’ve heard of the PB & Pickle sandwich. Haven’t tried that one yet, but my son did and said it was good. 🙂

In Canada, most schools are NO NUTS allowed. Interesting that the U.S is not the same. Makes lunch variety challenging.

But everyone i talked to never heard of it and thought I was funny eating it
